To all those who have an interest in the United Nations, global issues and Australia’s engagement with both, you could be interested in this conference run by the United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) at Customs House, Circular Quay, Sydney, on 22 – 23 July 2016.
The conference will be addressed by 30 excellent speakers, including two members of Executive Committee of the Australian Association for Human Rights Education, Associate Professor Nina Burridge and Ms Pera Wells and discuss some of the most important issues that confront Australia and the global
community in the 21st Century.
Presenters will cover many diverse topics such as the SDGs, human rights, climate change, nuclear disarmament, the Global Peace Index, peace operations, UN reform, global health, humanitarian operations, the Middle East, terrorism, and women, peace and security.
