This morning the St Mary’s Senior High School has invited me to talk to their senior high school students on “Human rights, asylum seekers, detention”.

The School is running a series of talks on a theme: “Festival of Provocative Ideas” to challenge their students with ideas in a range of areas that fall under the students’ studies within Society and Culture and Legal.
It was a great to discuss contemporary human rights issues in a multicultural Australia with a very interesting group of young people.
The school was awarded “Citizen for Humanity” certificate for their work in human rights education.
