The Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP, Prime Minister of Australia, has sent a message of support to the organisers of the 7th International Human Rights Education Conference (IHREC) “Addressing the Challenges of the Civil Society” to be held in Santiago, Chile on 12 – 15 December 2016. See PM message here .

The University of Chile School of Law and the Center for Human Rights, the host the 7th IHREC, reports that the organisation of the conference is progressing well with over 180 paper proposals being considered by the Conference Academic Committee and 12 plenary sessions planned.
