The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (or Nuclear … (OEWG) on nuclear disarmament within the United Nations General Assembly.

ACHRE was invited to participate with the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) Webinar: Celebrate a Nuclear Weapons Free Future. Civil society from around Australia as well as the region and internationally, joined the webinar to celebrate the UN Treaty coming into force, and to hear the story of the global networking campaign (ICAN) and grass roots efforts to enable governments around the world to ratify a United Nations Treaty on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
