The Australian Council for Human Rights Education has been supportive of human rights education initiatives of regional neighbour Timor-Leste, including providing over a hundred Citizen of Humanity certificates for the university training program Women, Leadership & Peace and the ongoing collaboration with both the Human Rights Centre (HRC) and Peace Centre (PC) of the National University of Timor Lorosa’e (UNTL).
