Chris Sidoti will be joining an esteemed panel in conversation with journalist Nour Haydar. An international human rights consultant who has served as former Australian Human Rights Commissioner, former Australian Law Reform Commissioner and founding director of the Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission, he is an International Expert of the Special Advisory Council for Myanmar and currently on the Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel which is chaired by Judge Pillay.
We are also pleased to welcome back, by popular demand, the NSW Arts Unit Aboriginal Dance Company to deliver the Acknowledgement of Country at the Sydney Peace Prize Lecture and Award Ceremony. The Aboriginal Dance Company is part of the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit, with the talented public school students trained by the world renowned Bangarra Dance Theatre.
