
Azim Zahir is a course coordinator at the Centre for Human Rights Education (Curtin University in
Perth). He received his PhD in Political Science and International Relations from UWA (2019) and holds a BA in Politics and Philosophy (Flinders University, 2008) and a Master of Human Rights with research focus on Islam, religious freedom, and democracy from the University of Sydney, 2011. His research interests include religion & international relations, and human rights & religious freedoms.
