Dr. Lynda Blanchard has been working in human rights and peace education for over twenty years, in research and teaching at the University of Sydney and at the Centre for Human Rights Education, Curtin University, Australia. She is former executive officer of the Sydney Peace Foundation, founding execautive member of the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism (Australia), international member of TRANSCEND Peace and Development Network, co-convener of the Peace Tourism Commission of the International Peace Research Association, and international advisor to the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies at the Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosa’e (UNTL, Timor-Leste).
