You have just woken in a very dark place, which is your new cheap high-density residential pod in a multi-story floating building as the earth’s population has now reached 200 Billion. Our earth now comprises of cities of endless freeways and pointy buildings. You are the president of Utopia, a nuclear-powered city that floats on the sea. The people are very tired of the crowded environment, which lacks fresh food, water and a balanced diet. The political system is undemocratic; there is a small ruling elite that organises everything to maintain their own position.
Devise solutions for Utopia’s problems drawing on the principles of human dignity and the common good of all residents? How will you guarantee that the needs of all are met with no citizen being left behind? What vision will you promote that establishes a shared, common vision? Make a video diary demonstrating your progress to send back in time to your colleagues and friends in the present.
