8 August 2016
On Monday 8 August 2016 I have addressed some 30 Year 10 History students at the Hurlstone Agricultural High School in Glenfield on “Human rights and migration”. The previous week I have had a pleasure to speak with Year 12 Legal Studies Class on “Development of human rights in Australia and the modern world”.

Students of both classes have shown plenty of interest and knowledge in contemporary human issues and lively discussion followed. They received with pleasure copies of the Universal Declaration for Human Rights donated to ACHRE by the United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA). A copy of UN Charter, also donated by the UNAA, was presented to Hurlstone Agricultural High School library.
The Year 10 and Year 12 students were awarded “Citizens for Humanity” citation by the Australian Council for Human Rights Education in the recognition of their achievements in study of human rights.
My best congratulations go to Mai Ni Pham, Teachers and Year 10 and 12 students at the Hurlstone Agricultural High School on this worthy achievement.
